Objectives

This cooperation project aims to support the development of vocational education and training for students in the aviation industry, with a focus on developing digital competencies and skills related to sustainable development. The project will provide students with the latest technologies and training in working with advanced equipment, boosting their confidence and proficiency in real-life situations. The project also seeks to introduce new methodologies for aviation education.

Activities

The partners in consultation with the associated partners representing the industry will identify all stakeholders involved in the next generation of aviation professionals and their training needs and will develop relevant XR immersive learning modules and related training plans. The learning modules will be result of co-creation of all partners and shared in a common cloud based XR platform. During pilots feedback will be collected, user manuals will be fine-tuned and best practices suggested.

Impact

A common XR platform will be adopted by all aviation schools involved in the project aiming for long-term cooperation in creating and sharing immersive learning modules.During LTTA’s partners will provide students with the latest technologies to close the gap between the theoretical and practical application of knowledge, boost their computational thinking skills and develop their confidence and proficiency. Professional development of teachers will also be stimulated with a new methodology.
