FRIDAS project aims at: - promoting an unbiased community in the field of the Higher Education (HE), especially in social work departments, characterized by a culture capable of counteracting prejudices and phenomena such as homophobia or transphobia and promoting a culture of differences, - empowering students in order not to be influenced by prejudice in their choices and their future work as social workers, which will make them deal with violations.

To reach the above-mentioned objectives, FRIDAS intends to realise the following activities: - a collection of social work cases where professional social workers present situations of Human Rights (from now on HR) violations, discrimination, and vulnerability, - competence framework on HR for social work students, - educational modules of a training course for students on HR, - an implementation of a virtual community for students and practitioners to share practices and advocate for HR.

The expected results are: Improvement of the students' competences on the role of HR and the impact on their well-being, learning, and work activities. Improvement of the ability to recognise and prevent situations of HR violations and discrimination. Improvement of students' transversal skills especially empathy, cooperation skills, lateral thinking, and critical thinking. Indirectly, we expect an improvement of academic staff's HR competences to create a non-discriminatory environment.
