Objectives

This project represents a comprehensive and forward-thinking approach to culinary education and sustainable food practices. By empowering Kitchen Technicians with the tools and knowledge to promote the Mediterranean diet and its associated principles, it not only enhances individual career prospects but also contributes to the broader goals of healthier, more sustainable, and culturally rich food systems. Moreover, its partnership model opens the door for future expansion and experimentation.

Activities

the various activities we are going to implement: 1-Data collection:collection of information and best practices related to the MD in the three countries 2- Detailed drafting of the training programme and confirmation of the target groups (teachers and students).Development of a training course for the valorisation of the elements linked to the MD 3- Teacher training course implementation 4- Student training course implementation 5- Implementation of the pilot project 6- Follow up and reporting

Impact

Provide high-quality education and skill development opportunities aligned with industry needs and prepare learners for successful careers in the field of Mediterranean diet,sustainability and healthy cuisine.The creation of a channel of communication and exchange of knowledge on the MD between the countries bordering the Mediterranean (Spain and Italy) and the Nordic countries (Luxembourg) will symbolize an openness to expertise that will have a positive impact on the health of the population.
