Objectives

The aim of the HS4IL project is to identify and take stock of experiences and practices highlighting the contribution of digital technologies in the housing environment as a lever and catalyst for autonomy, independent living, self-determination and social participation of persons with disabilities. The focus will be on the identification of relevant technologies and strategies for supporting and accompanying people and on a methodology (Living Lab) to progress co-productively in this sector.

Activities

-Research: identify tools and technologies to support independent living and self-determination of people with intellectual disabilities -Need Analysis: dig into the needs, wishes and perceptions of the project target -Living-Lab: a methodology supporting the implementation of digital tools and technologies supporting autonomy and self-determination. -Adoption of Recommendations addressed to stakeholders and policy makers on accessible housing for PwD. -Dissemination & Networking

- A list of housing experiences that use digital technologies that promote independent living and self-determination of PwD - An analysis of the needs of PwD and supporting staff - A methodology (Living Lab) for choosing and testing housing projects using tech components that promote autonomy and self-determination - A Learning Network to foster a dynamic digital ecosystem - Recommendations addressed to policy makers and responsible for services to promote accessible housing for of PWD
