Objectives

The project aims to develop a model for educating and empowering local governments, green entrepreneurs and communities about the role of post-growth strategies in transitioning to more sustainable societies to be tested in six cities. It fosters inclusive and participatory processes of policy formulation and implementation, involving representatives of communities, companies and CSO’s who will feel ownership and give legitimacy to the city’s plans. The focus lies on marginalized neighbourhoods.
