โถObjectives
The aim of the project is to build strong sustainable communities across Europe of locally-based migrant support organisations (MSOs) which support migrants to meaningfully engage in their local society. We want to achieve this by providing organisation development skills training and network opportunities to MSO leaders and empowerment training skills and network opportunities to MSO staff. The MSO staff will use the newly gained skills to deliver empowerment training to migrants.
โถActivities
We are going to develop a methodology Pillars of Strengthening (PoS) for increasing organisational capacity and then train MSO leaders in this. To make the project value for money we are going to adapt the existing methodology Pillars of Power (PoP) to train MSO staff in training techniques and our empowerment methodology. Migrants in NL, GR, ES, IT and LIT will participate in these empowerment trainings. We will deploy PoS and PoP in Europe with a webinar and multiplier events in 5 countries.
โถImpact
We expect to deliver PoS & PoP in 6 languages with easy-to-use tools on e-learning platforms, train 10 MSO leaders in PoS, 10 MSO staff in training PoP and empower 50 migrants. We will reach additional people in Europe via a webinar (30) and local events (150). The consortium partners are committed to include PoP & PoS in their existing training programmes, as they can be used by any local organisation working in adult education. We continue to search for synergies via networking in EU.
