Our aim is to support the development of educational and pedagogical settings, in youth work, to make it more inclusive and integrate diverse neurodivergent people successfully, at an European level, so that this group with fewer opportunities can be an active and engaged part of society, be part of an healthy competitiveness and collaboration, in education and sports and be later fully integrated in the job market.
▶Activities
We will use a participatory action-research methodology, where facilitators and neurodivergent youth are central in the production of knowledge. With the following phases: 1. participatory research of the needs of neurodiverse youth and challenges of facilitators. 2. transform the research conclusions into creative outputs, adapted to all, inclusively to neurodivergent people 3. test the results into our local realities and making sure the materials are adjusted to an European context.
▶Impact
The results includes a user-friendly digital platform, that contains animation videos, that explain main ideas and concept, testimonials videos, for case studies, tips and tricks, a aesthetic toolkit, with many suggestions for further reading and development and an educational board game to remind us about the power of diversity and the more colourful and creative world we can have by including neurodiverse people.
