▶Objectives
We want to decrease stress and lower the workload for teachers who are struggling to create lesson plans for language classes with a diverse group of learners. We want to achieve this by using generative AI, and to create clear guidelines regarding prompts, to ensure effective use of generative AI in lesson planning.
▶Activities
We are going to have three main activities as well as project management and dissemination. We are going to collect feedback and evaluate pre-existing knowledge from teachers regarding their problems in the classroom and generative AI. We are going to create groups that will then create lesson plans using human power, free generative AI and paid generative AI. Finally we will collect all findings and create a guidebook.
▶Impact
We expect our project to deliver massive amounts of raw data, and to be summarised in a guidebook that will be used mainly by language teachers, and can also be used partially by teachers from other subject areas. The guidebook will function as an assitant to teachers when creating lesson plans and will save them time and energy, especially in classes with differing skills levels.
