Objectives

Develop new methods for teaching adult migrants, where art is used as motivation and opens for the participants’ own reflections on the image. Art can give new possibilities to reflecting and process difficult emotions. Art and culture competence can increase the quality of life and open up new ways of thinking. Experience of dialogue promotes participation in the community. Seeing art in an official museum, participating in the dialog and make art activities, is important.

Activities

Four Tours and Workshops for migrants living in Bergen Meetings Administration Visit to CULTIV ASSOCIAÇÃO DE IDEIAS PARA A CULTURA E CIDADANIA in Portugal Visit to Kode Art Museums and composers homes in Norway Three days of Program in Bergen Three days of Program Portugal

Impact

Adult migrants will be included in new public arenas when we invite them into the museum. Gain a greater insight and understanding of Norwegian culture and the learning offer becomes more flexible. Skills development for the employees in our organisations. Exchange of similarities and differences in two cultures.Give the participants the opportunity for a more varied form of teaching that can give them knowledge and competence in basic skills for use in everyday life coping.
