Our project aims to enhance vocational education by integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) education focused on sustainability across sectors like Agriculture, Energy, Water Management & Transport. We intend to equip VET educators & students with the knowledge & skills to apply AI technologies, with an emphasis on sustainability outcomes. The goal is to prepare future professionals in key sectors to implement AI solutions that are in harmony with environmental sustainability goals.

In the SUSTaiN project, weโll execute 4 activity-based WPs: -Develop Sustainable AI Case Studies and StarterKit: providing AI-focused educational materials -Create an innovative AI Training programme: creating flexible, interactive open resources. -Initiate AI for Sustainability Hackathons: offering immersive, experiential learning. -Engage in Sharing & Sustainability: leveraging networks and enhancing project presentation.

Expected outcome: At least 60 VET educators will use WP2 StarterKit for awareness/understanding of AI. At least 90 VET students & 30 VET educators will use & Pilot test WP3 OERs for increased knowledge and competencies in AI applications for sustainability. At least 90 VET students, 30 VET educators and 15 industry stakeholders will collaborate on hackathons using AI solutions for real industry sustainability issues. 1000+ VET/industry stakeholders use/download results via share strategy.
