Objectives

In this project, we intend to combat early school leaving; promote more targeted professional guidance; fostering ambition among students who are most vulnerable to academic learning; valuing professional education; make students aware of a professional future in Europe. We also want to promote the integration of students in real work contexts, finding common strategies for success.

Activities

Each partner will select students who feel insecure in their learning or in the face of dropping out of school. Students will visit vocational schools and companies to discover professions. They will participate in lectures, prepare scripts, presentations, videos and quizzes about the professions. They will share their experiences, developing their European citizenship. Teachers will share actions and innovative teaching methods/practices for a better diagnosis and fight against school dropout.

Impact

For students: - raise awareness of the importance of school guidance; - deepen their knowledge of professional opportunities; - realize that professional success can be achieved across Europe as European citizens. For teachers: - reinforce their knowledge of the diversity of educational systems; - develop innovative practices to combat school dropouts; - promote selective guidance for pupils. Together: build professional devices and gestures to help students avoid dropping out of school.
