Summary

By implementing the project we want to raise health and pro-ecological awareness of pupils, teachers and the local community. We desire for our students to live a healthy lifestyle, to learn healthy habits, to grow and self-develop in harmony with nature. Therefore we would like to develop key competences, promote equality among pupils and find ways to motivate our pupils to learn and acquire knowledge of foreign languages and green practices in every day situations.

Activities

an art competition for the project's logo a parallel eTwinning project on pickled vegetables for other European countries a brochure about green practices, designing the labels for pickled vegetables, fabric bags designed for shopping to lower the use of plastic, creating a book with recipies from both Romania and Poland, workshops on how to make pickles, meetings with parents, other teachers, the local community to promote the project, presentation of green practices, articles on websites

Impact

Qualitative results: increased: knowledge of Poland and Romania; key competences (linguistic, interpersonal, organizational, analytical); communication skills; motivation to continue learning/acting; green practices; knowledge of providing first aid Quantitative results: final products: multimedia presentations, photos, videos, a book with recipies of pickled vegetables and fruit, a brochure about eco friendly practices, labels, eco bags for shopping, the logo of the project.
