Objectives

The SENSE project aims to revolutionize dementia care by providing comprehensive, inclusive, and innovative educational resources. Our goal is to empower caregivers globally, enhance the well-being of seniors with dementia, combat stigma, and contribute to the creation of dementia-friendly communities, aligning with EU values and promoting active citizenship.

Activities

The SENSE project will implement diverse activities, including developing educational materials (guidebook, curriculum, podcasts, videos), creating digital tools, organizing training sessions, conducting pilot testing, and disseminating project outcomes. Partners will contribute based on their expertise, fostering cross-border collaboration and addressing the specific needs of seniors with dementia and caregivers.

Impact

The SENSE project anticipates tangible outcomes, including a comprehensive guidebook, curriculum, podcasts, and a toolkit for dementia care. Digital tools, training sessions, and conferences will be developed. The project aims to enhance caregivers' skills, raise awareness, and create an inclusive, sustainable, and globally applicable approach to improve the well-being of seniors with severe dementia and their caregivers.
