▶Objectives
The objective is to create a free course in cybersecurity that will be available online to anyone. This project is intended for HEIs but parts of it can be used in VET/AE/GE and business, the open online character of the course will allow it to be used in any setting. The idea behind this course is to create a platform to teach "digital hygiene" to anyone, as in the Pareto rule for cybersecurity - 80% of attacks can be avoided with only 20% of effort and skills.
▶Activities
The main activities are as follows: -creating a MOOC consisting of 4 modules on different aspects of cybersecurity -providing a course to students from various backgrounds -conferences to widen the knowledge of the project and of cyberthreats For each module it will be: -syllabus -50-100 pages of text+graphic content -interactive lesson (60-90 mins) -video (5-10 mins) -questions and quizzes -case studies -ca. 20 page teachers’ book -all of it in 4 languages -for approximately 25 hours of study
▶Impact
The main result will be a MOOC on intermediate topics in cybersecurity, part of a larger course on CS. The 4 modules: M.1 Threats from organised disinformation by malicious actors and the use of social media M.2 ENISA and national recommendations in cybersecurity M.3 ENISA Cybersecurity Skills Framework M.4 Use of AI by cybercriminals and in cyberdefence. There will aslo be a teaching stage, an intensive 2-week pilot course and a myriad of dissemination and sustainability events and activities
