By implementing the project, we aimed to achieve the following objectives: • Strengthen the professional competencies of our specialists in the fields of sustainable fashion, textile recycling, and digital design; • Transfer European best practices in sustainability and innovation to the local textile industry; • Promote the circular economy by encouraging the reuse and upcycling of clothing; • Support the integration of vulnerable groups, including Ukrainian refugees, by providing them access to professional training; • Encourage collaboration between local and international partners to foster innovation and long-term partnerships; • Raise awareness within the community about the importance of sustainable practices in the fashion and textile sectors. Ultimately, the project aimed to equip our organization and participants with the tools, knowledge, and motivation to implement lasting, eco-responsible changes in their professional environment.
▶Activities
In our project, we implemented the following key activities: 1. Experience exchange sessions with our international partner from Italy (Treviso Fashion School), where our specialists participated in workshops focused on sustainable clothing design, textile recycling, and digital pattern-making for garment reuse. 2. Practical training and demonstrations on innovative techniques for upcycling garments and reducing textile waste, using both traditional and digital tools. 3. Organization of a masterclass in Romania, where the knowledge gained during the exchange was transferred to other local specialists and a group of Ukrainian refugees interested in the textile field. 4. Collaborative design exercises that resulted in the creation of clothing prototypes made from recycled materials, promoting hands-on learning and creativity. 5. Dissemination activities, including presentations, discussions, and feedback sessions to share the results and encourage the adoption of sustainable practices in the local textile industry. These activities supported the project’s overall goal of developing professional skills, promoting sustainability, and encouraging social inclusion in the fashion and textile sector.

The concrete outputs and results of our project include: 1. Training of over 20 specialists in sustainable fashion, textile recycling, and digital pattern-making techniques. 2. Delivery of a masterclass in Romania, where knowledge gained during the international exchange was successfully transferred to local professionals and several Ukrainian refugees. 3. Development of digital garment patterns focused on reuse and upcycling, created during both the exchange and the masterclass. 4. Creation of several clothing prototypes made entirely from recycled materials, showcasing practical application of circular fashion principles. 5. Improved professional capacity within our organization, enabling us to implement sustainable practices in our production processes. 6. Increased awareness among participants and the local community regarding the importance of sustainability in the textile sector. 7. Strengthened collaboration between our organization and the Italian partner, laying the foundation for future joint initiatives. These results contribute to long-term positive impact in terms of environmental responsibility, social inclusion, and innovation in the textile industry.
