The objective of the project is to create digital tools that facilitate the activity and increase the professional performance of both ophthalmologists and doctors from other fields. Another important objective is to offer to patients with limited access to medical services the possibility to investigate without calling a doctor.
▶Activities
The activities to be carried out are: analysis and documentation of the ophthalmological tests that will be carried out, creation of digital applications with the help of which the tests can be carried out, testing of the applications on patients. Promoting the results of the project and making doctors aware that digital tools can be used to facilitate medical activity is another important activity that will be part of the project.
▶Impact
The main results of the project will be a series of results: a software application for mobile phones, a web platform and a printed and digital brochure, all accessible to anyone without any cost. By promoting the project, ophthalmologists and doctors from other fields, as well as other people involved in the medical field, will learn that there is the possibility of performing ophthalmological tests with the help of a software application without calling an ophthalmologist.
