Our project aims to modernize foreign language education at the tertiary level based on a digitally-enhanced challenge-based approach to learning centered around European citizenship & democracy issues, by: -Developing a methodological foundation and interactive teaching/learning resources in the form of digital breakout challenges hosted on a bespoke web app; -Building capacity of foreign language teachers to use the developed methodology; and -Piloting the project results with HEI students.
