Objectives

Project partners strongly believe that aviation schools can play a significant role in promoting waste management practices within the aviation sector by educating students about the importance of waste management in aviation and provide training on how to implement proper waste management practices. With the help of AviWaste project, we aim to provide students with hands-on experience in waste management practices through Toolkit, Online course and VR activities.

Impact

With the synergetic effect of international cooperation, the transfer of innovation and the development of additional values, with the priority of the strategic goals of the partners we will produce 3 concrete results. R1:One OER training course (MOOC) consisting of nine lesson plans R2:Virtual airport tour (nine VR interactive activities referring to waste management procedure) R3:Toolkit with the description of environmental threats, waste management techniques in aviation and best practises
