▶Objectives
Through this project, we will increase awareness of the EU and the feeling of being a European citizen among students aged 14-18, staff and other citizens in Timrå, Sweden and Drnis, Croatia. We want to strengthen competence on EU issues and are certain this will lead to better electoral participation in elections to the European Parliament as well as a greater commitment to European political issues. In addition, we want to strengthen the digital competence of both teachers and students.
▶Activities
We will carry out several digital meetings, at least one Etwinning project, three different mobilities and several creative projects - all with a focus on increasing knowledge about the EU and strengthening the feeling of being a European citizen. We will visit the schools in Drnis and Timrå, and make a joint study trip to the EU institutions in Brussels. The students will create and carry out various learning activities such as posters, role-plays, Powerpoints, lectures and digital materials.
▶Impact
We expect an increased knowledge of the European Union among students and staff at the participating schools. We also expect increased knowledge about the European Union in the geographical immediate area, mainly other people in the municipalities of the participating schools. We also expect increased digital competence in both participating teachers and students.
