EcoDigify aims to initiate a future-oriented interdisciplinary university program that will address the multidimentional challenges of promoting sustainability in the use and development of digital technologies.This will be achieved by enhancing the educators’ knowledge about Sustainable Digitalization and providing students with the knowledge and skills to co-create sustainable digital solutions with the support of digitalization experts and sustainability scientists.
▶Activities
Our main project activities are: -To develop a study that will offer new knowledge for the integration of Sustainable Digitalization across different disciplines -To develop a training program to support university educators on how to incorporate Sustainable Digitalization in their settings through the establishment of Living Labs -To develop the Sustainable Digital Transformation Academy to boost students’ interest and competences in green practices in the field of digital technologies
▶Impact
The project will contribute towards a greener digital transformation and will unleash the educational potential of Sustainable Digitalization through offering a transdisciplinary learning programme that will be tested by more than 120 students across Europe and a blended Training programme on Sustainable Digitalization for university educators. It will also offer a set of Policy Recommendations that will promote the project’s innovative educational programme to be replicated in any EU country.
