▶Objectives
Students and teachers from three school institutions in three neighbouring countries, Italy, Slovenia and Croatia, are investigating the state of related communities. The aim of the project is to connect and exchange experiences in the field of minority communities. Networking within a wider region allows participants to get to know the environment and circumstances of neighboring countries. We expect participating students to gain better insight and choice of environment for further learning an
▶Activities
In joint activities, we develop entrepreneurial and craft skills. On a field/plate principle, we intend to acquire theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of physics, chemistry, biology and marketing. On the school meadow of the Central Italian School in Pula, we plan to plant fragrances of lavender and immortelle and set up and settle bee hives. Trieste intends to produce a distillation plant, while in Ljubljana we plan to distil fragrances and obtain essential oil and hydrolyte.
▶Impact
We expect that by participating in the project, all three participating organisations, their capacities for transnational and cross-sectoral work will be strengthened. With a regular educational process, we provide learning individuals with a multifaceted experience in the fields of science and technology, culture and environmental protection in the international arena.
