We aim to enhance media literacy and foster responsible media use among children, teachers, and parents. Our goal is to create a learning partnership that addresses the challenges of children's media consumption, equips teachers with effective tools and methodologies, and actively involves parents in understanding and navigating the media landscape. This project seeks to establish a balanced approach to media use, ensuring safe and constructive engagement for children's wellbeing and development

We will approach the needs of our target groups by collecting and evaluating good practices among our partners and by developing new methods. All ideas and activities will be tested with target groups through piloting activities with parents, teachers and children. We will offer F2F teacher trainings, workshops for parents and further learning materials online. An extension of the existing portal Eduskills+Media will be developed and a widespread dissemination will take place.

Our project will deliver the Eduskills+Media Toolbox, providing kindergarten teachers with an introduction to media education, tested approaches, and activities. This Toolbox will facilitate partnerships between teachers and parents for effective media socialization and education of children. Additionally, we'll introduce new, innovative media education activities in kindergartens. All materials, including the Toolbox and activities, will be available in four languages on the Eduskills+platform.
