Summary

The goals of the project are (1) to strengthen the language competences of the students of both secondary schools, (2) to deepen the relationship with literature through the study and translations of selected works, (3) to build a virtual and physical library at both partners, (4) to carry out a cultural visit of students and teachers for the purpose of getting to know each other and for the purpose of getting to know the realities related to translated literary works, and (5) cooperation.

Objectives

Activities

The project consists of the following mirroring activities: 1. Translation of selected works of the Slovak literature 2. Translation of selected works of the Finnish literature 3. Implementation of mobility and ceremonial opening of the (virtual) library in Slovakia 4. Implementation of mobility and ceremonial opening of the (virtual) library in Finnland

• List of Finnish and Slovak authors and works suitable for translation • List of selected Finnish and Slovak authors and works selected by students • Translated texts of selected works • Final version of translated works in English and Russian language • Carried out cultural visit of the Finnish school in Slovakia/of the Slovak school in Finland in the scope in the scope of 5 days • Virtual library at the Slovak/Finnish partner • Physical library at the Slovak/Finnish partner
