▶Objectives
The main objective of the CarbonOFF4.0 project is identifying a strategy to decrease the mismatches between the labour market and the available professional profiles focusing on the skills linked to carbon neutrality and ecological transition in relevant productive industries. The achieved results will be innovative training modules, based on living labs and other tools, addressed to several target groups: students, trainers, workers professionals, companies and citizens.
▶Activities
The objectives of the project will be reached through 2 main activities: the definition of new sets of training modules (addressed to different targets of users), the creation of guidelines for VET centres and trainers to correctly use the modules, the development of a toolkit addressed to companies to practically implement the analysis of carbon footprint and adopt corrective strategy. Moreover, all these tools will be tested during pilot activities, in the second half of the project.
▶Impact
Project outcomes will be: - creation of a toolkit for production companies to help them identify the steps and necessary skill-sets in their ecological transition; - development of training modules based on an innovative approach, focused on the decarbonisation process in relevant production industries; - development of a set of recommendations for policy makers on the correct strategy in order to reduce the mismatches between the labour market and the available “green” profiles.
