Objectives

With the project, to draw attention to environmental pollution and the resulting climate change by providing young people with experience in the evaluation of textile waste in new designs; It is aimed to enable young people to recognize green fashion, sustainable fashion, ethical fashion movements, to develop practical skills needed from business life, to promote their own culture and to get to know different cultures better, and to ensure that they are open to intercultural cooperation.

Activities

Designing, producing and exhibiting a textile product (clothes, home textiles, accessories, bags) using waste materials; recognizie of ethical fashion, sustainable fashion, green fashion movements Cultural city tours, tasting of local delicacies, etc. Getting to know thecountry they are visiting better through activities, participating in practices promoting a local product of the country they are visiting.

Impact

As a result of the project; Students are expected to develop problem solving, visual perception, abstract thinking and green skills. Self-expression, self-sufficiency, and self-confidence of disadvantaged students will be supported. Contribution will be made to the training of conscious and innovative professional staff who are experienced in the reuse of waste products, sensitive to environmental pollution and the importance of climate change, open to intercultural cooperation.
