Objectives

While it becomes more difficult to access healthy and clean food every day, we will turn the upward curve of the factors that cause climate change and pesticide residue-containing agricultural products into a negative one. We will increase the experience of our agricultural teachers and students in biological control, disseminate sustainable agricultural techniques, thus ensuring access to healthy food for our future.

Activities

We will be in Greece with a team of 10 teachers to effectively implement biological control methods. To learn about the behavior of pests, we will discuss the question "Is Every Insect You See Harmful" in Turkey. We will be in Poland with a team of 8 teachers to learn how to establish a Sustainable Food Chain. We will be in Belgium to understand the role of forests in global warming.

Impact

As a result of the project, important awareness will be gained about forests, biological control agents, and sustainable agricultural techniques that play a role in climate change, and by disseminating these, we will enable a wider audience to look to the future with confidence. Agriculture field course contents will be improved by 20%. Pesticide use will be reduced by 50% in our schools.
