Objectives

DILDENT aims to analyse the current situation of Dental Treatment Protocols (DTP) in the partner universities and develop a joint DTP and purpose-oriented digital interactive learning tools for teaching DTP. Accordingly, the project practice aims to harmonise the DTP in the partner universities to standardise their implementations by also keeping up with the innovations and improving the dental treatment protocol practice skills of dentistry undergraduates through the use of digital tools.

Activities

DILDENT brings together experts in dentistry and computer software development through a multidisciplinary approach. This approach aims to create digital interactive tools that can be used during lectures to help dental students learn more effectively about topics related to dental care The project will pursue the collaboration among these experts in various data analysis and content development processes to create digital tools and interactions with dental students and healthcare associations.

Impact

The expected results: - Updated and Harmonised Dental Treatment Protocols (DTP) in the partner universities - 20 Digital Interactive Learning Tools for better attainment in DTP - 125 trained dentistry students with the developed materials in the piloting process - Increased achievement in students' knowledge of DTP - Increased motivation in students to learn DTP
