The project aims to achieve the following objectives: contribute to universities’ capacity to become more inclusive in their educational and administrative settings, promote inclusive teaching practices of academic staff at the tertiary level, enrich non-academic staff’s (administrative staff) awareness of inclusion and diversity, and develop their inclusive behaviours on campuses, foster academic and non-academic staff's intercultural competence
▶Activities
The followings will be implemented: - conduct face-to-face training programs for academic staff on inclusion and diversity (4 modules) (in each partner country’s language), - conduct face-to-face training programs for non-academic staff inclusion and diversity (2 modules) (in each partner country’s language), - develop a MOODLE course accessible to academic and non-academic staff (in English, with subtitles and translations in each partner's language - develop a guidebook of inclusive practices
▶Impact
Through the project, the consortium expects to achieve gains in the universities’ capacities of inclusiveness to address diversity by putting forward carefully-designed training programs for both academic and non-academic staff and presenting them with an open-access methodology through MOODLE platforms. As a joint product of efforts for training programs, MOODLE learning environment and review of current best practices on inclusive education, a guidebook of inclusive practices will be designed
