Objectives

The project, aims to enhance our capacity to engage audiences in toy libraries across the EU, focusing on bridging intergenerational, intercultural, and social gaps. Through the promotion of play, collaboration, and digital literacy, we seek to facilitate training, social inclusion or elderly and children. InterHubPlaying strives to be a pioneer in promoting environmental and digital literacy by fostering awareness of collaboration and cutting-edge technologies within the toy library sector.

Activities

We facilitate practical exchanges, both virtual and locally. Our initiative includes creating intergenerational homework workshop group, transforming toy libraries into vibrant hubs for meeting, playing, collaborating, and exchanging knowledge on digital technologies. Additionally, we design resources that showcase our expertise and experiences, ensuring their replicability and longevity through homework groups, dissemination events, and key deliverables such as websites and booklets.

Impact

To leverage our expertise to bridging intergenerational and social gaps and fostering digital literacy. Our initiatives train adults and children to engage in community actively. The resources will enable replication across EU toy libraries, schools, and leisure centers, reducing barriers to training and inclusion, enhancing community cohesion, and promoting sustainable goals. This project will empower other stakeholders to implement these practices in their organizations and set us as pioneers.
