Objectives

The primary objective of the project is to enhance the education and professional development of social workers, cultural mediators, therapists, and volunteers working with FLINTA refugees and migrants. By providing theoretical and practical training in trauma-informed care, we aim to improve their skills and effectiveness. Additionally, the project will establish a European-wide network of professionals and organizations, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange.

Activities

The project will implement four key activities: strategic meetings for knowledge exchange, workshops on trauma-informed care, peer-to-peer counseling training, and complementary therapy sessions (e.g., art and sound therapy) for FLINTA individuals. Additionally, we will host collaborative events to foster professional development and establish a transnational network. Each activity will bring together professionals and FLINTA refugees migrants to ensure both education and practical empowerment.

Impact

The project aims to achieve several key results: improved competencies of professionals working with FLINTA refugees and migrants, a stronger transnational network of organizations, and enhanced support services through trauma-informed care. FLINTA refugees will gain access to empowerment tools, fostering resilience and self-confidence. The project will also provide volunteers and activists with new knowledge and connections, helping them professionalize and find pathways into related fields.
