The aim of our project is to train volunteer helpers to become everyday guides and to qualify them for their work. The project will further develop and test the existing training courses offered by the associations. During the planned joint training courses in Germany and Italy, the participants will also learn about European values. Above all, this should lead to a meaningful exchange.

Volunteers acquire the necessary knowledge for their voluntary work as everyday guides by actively participating in the learning activities in DE and IT. 2 transnational learning activities on important practical topics such as - supporting people in crisis situations/ techniques and skills for helping in everyday life - are carried out. The participants exchange European values. These activities are planned and managed in a targeted manner at the steering group meetings.

We expect the participating associations to have tried-and-tested training modules for training volunteer everyday life guides in accordance with the areas of activity. Training modules are available on overarching topics such as conducting conversations, conflict resolution and stress management. The first trained volunteer everyday life guides support the full-time advisors and counselors in their daily work.
