▶Objectives
The MEDIAI project aims to integrate AI competencies into multimedia VET programs, preparing educators and professionals for the AI-driven job market. Our key objectives are to develop AI-focused training tools, foster collaboration between educators and industry experts, and create scalable resources like an AI Multimedia VET Toolkit. By the end of the project, we expect to produce six AI-driven training modules and a research report to support digital transformation in VET.
▶Activities
The project will implement five key activities: 1. Project management. 2. Research and comparative analysis through surveys and interviews with VET trainers and multimedia professionals. 3. Development of the AI Multimedia Toolkit, including a manual and collection of AI tools. 4. A 3-day workshop in Italy for VET educators and multimedia professionals to validate and refine the toolkit. 5. Final conference in Germany to present findings and disseminate project results.
▶Impact
The project will produce concrete results, including: 1. The AI Multimedia VET Toolkit, a comprehensive digital resource. 2. A research report analyzing AI’s impact on multimedia professions and VET training. 3. Training 20 VET educators and multimedia professionals through the workshop. 4. Increased collaboration between industry and education. 5. An online repository accessible across Europe, ensuring the project’s sustainability and continued impact on AI integration in VET.
