Objectives

The primary aim of the project is to promote “modern age” media literacy & critical reflection on AI use Specifically it aims to: 1) Raise awareness of youth workers, civil society & ultimately, youth about AI's risks, ethics, & transformative power 2) Foster knowledge transfer from AI experts to newcomers 3) Equip youth workers with AI-literacy competences & novel relevant tools 4) Discuss AI use in civil society & education to enhance digital readiness, resilience & ethical utilization of AI

Activities

WP1: Management & Coordination WP2: Creation of the “Digital Book of AI experiences” by engaging end-users in the design (focus groups) & assessment (survey) WP3: Creation of a podcast series for youth workers (YW), incl. focus groups & a survey in the process WP4: LTTA for YW & creation of a Toolbox, to help them prepare youngsters for the AI-world WP5: Policy Recommendations Multiplier events for I) YW & II) decision makers; General dissemination

Impact

The project will delives four key results: i) a Digital Book of AI Experiences, capturing insights from AI experts & making them accessible to newcomers in the field ii) an educational podcast series for YW about the ethics- & integration of AI in education & youth work iii) a Toolbox for Youth Workers, equipping them with concept & methods to teach AI literacy iv) Policy Recommendations to guide AI integration in youth work and education in line with the EU AI Act
