▶Objectives
Our project aims to strengthen the digital readiness, resilience and capacity of youth work organisations & networks across Europe. We will confront post-pandemic challenges, such as digital fatigue, and empower youth workers to embrace, implement and reflect on digital youth work and media literacy learning practices with playfulness and reflexivity. In addition, we are going to improve the framework conditions for digital youth work in Europe through practical, concrete policy recommendations.
▶Activities
The core activities of the project are Digital Youth Work Forums and Policy Expert Meetings. The Forums will bring together 100+ youth workers from Austria, Germany and Finland, and allow them to dive into and discover a wide spectrum of youth work activities with a digital dimension. The expert meetings will develop recommendations to strengthen the framework conditions for digital youth work. Through their interplay, we will re-imagine digital youth work in post-pandemic times.
▶Impact
Through our project, 100+ youth workers from Austria, Germany and Finland will be empowered to integrate multiple dimensions of digitality into their youth work with purpose, skill and adequacy. In addition, their organisations and networks will be better equipped to embrace the positive potential of digital transformation, and the European digital youth work community will be strengthened. Last but not least, policy makers across Europe will be able to improve conditions for digital youth work.
