Objectives

We aim to empower young people with crowd-thinking competences and AI-enhanced skills, fostering their ability to tackle complex societal challenges. We seek to lay the foundation for a European ecosystem of crowd-thinking, that promotes collaborative intelligent societies aligned with the European AI Act's goals of inclusivity, transparency, and long-term engagement in social and technological innovation.

Activities

We will implement key activities including: mapping the crowd-thinking field in the Nordics and the Benelux, developing and testing a training plan for young people in Denmark and Sweden, organizing national awareness events in Denmark, Sweden, and the Netherlands, creating promotional materials and a website to disseminate outputs, and running social media campaigns to engage new stakeholders towards laying the foundation for a crowd-thinking ecosystem in Europe.

Impact

We expect the Crowd-Competent project to produce the following results: a trained group of young people equipped with crowd-thinking and AI skills, successful small-scale initiatives led by participants, increased awareness of crowd-thinking through national events, a lasting digital platform housing project outputs, and the foundation for a European crowd-thinking ecosystem that fosters collaborative societies and a democratic AI transition.
