Objectives

The project aims at innovation in VET to better equip visual arts and design students and teachers for the sustainability-driven education and labor market. It establishes a new form of cross-cultural collaboration that integrates the partners’ expertise and best practices in green skills, cultural heritage, cross-cultural creative teamwork, and engagement with local communities.

Activities

The activities are divided into four main components: two Paintcamps with related activities—one focused on ecological painting techniques and the other on teamwork and community engagement, both centered on cultural heritage—and an Opening and Closing Event. The Paintcamp activities include public exhibitions, online warm-ups and wrap-ups, guest lectures from higher education, workshops on shipping art pieces, and cultural events tied to cultural heritage.

Impact

The project will create a new form of collaboration between visual arts and design VET institutions, prioritizing innovation in education and employability through sustainable practices, green skills, and creative cross-cultural teamwork. As key outcomes, the project will develop a comprehensive Paintcamp model with defined learning outcomes and sample materials, and organize two exhibitions showcasing the work produced.
