The ultimate goal of PROTECTWomen is to prevent psychological violence and coercive control and protect women at-risk. This will be achieved by improving the knowledge and skills of social service professionals, increasing availability of effective services, raising public awareness, promoting gender equality and women's human rights. The project also aims to achieve longer-term outcomes, such as the development of evidence-based policies and practices that respond to the needs of women at-risk.
