▶Objectives
The EDGES project targets youth in remote, rural areas with the goal to increase their access to quality and targeted entrepreneurship and digital education. The project’s objectives are to educate young people on and familiarise them with green and social economy and related sustainable entrepreneurship opportunities which are developing in their own areas, enhance their digital capacities, provide access to digital tools promoting employability and entrepreneurship.
▶Activities
The EDGES project includes the co-designing with young participants and implementation of a series of workshops on green & social entrepreneurship and relevant digital skills, as well as 4 days of Joint Activities, which include common training, visits in successful practices of green & social entrepreneurship, mentoring sessions, workshops, hands-on training, etc. Updated online repository with relevant Open Educational Resources and mentoring meetings will also be offered.
▶Impact
Increased knowledge and capacities of young people of the participating areas in green and social entrepreneurship, increased professional and entrepreneurship skills and familiarity with digital tools. The creation of a complete, adaptable, replicable and usable curriculum on entrepreneurship & digital skills in green & social economy. The creation of gathered and up-to-date online material regarding green and social economy and entrepreneurship, easy and free to access for youth.
