Objectives

The SPIN project aims to promote social inclusion, sustainability and empowerment of youth through sport. By integrating education through sport (ETS) methodologies with sustainability education, the project will strengthen leadership, teamwork and critical thinking skills among young people. It also seeks to raise awareness of sustainability issues and provide educational resources that support long-term social and environmental impact.

Activities

The SPIN project will implement sport-based educational activities, including educational workshops, hackathons and sustainability-focused sport initiatives. It will develop an educational toolkit, a digital board game and an e-learning platform for teaching sustainability through sport. Local testing phases will be carried out in each partner country, followed by dissemination events to share results with youth workers, educators and policy makers.

Impact

The SPIN project will produce several key outputs: an educational toolkit, a digital board game and an e-learning platform, all designed to teach sustainability through sport. It will also develop new methodologies for youth workers, raise awareness of sustainability and enhance leadership and teamwork skills among young people. The project will promote social inclusion, engage marginalized groups and create long-term, sustainable educational resources accessible to organizations across Europe.
