▶Objectives
The project aims to provide Deaf in Italy and Spain a information hotspot, where they can find the necessary material regarding english language certification in an accessible format. Moreover, this will empower the Deaf community. The aim of the project is also to act as a pioneer for future calls, involving more countries and/or more language certifications (for instance German, Spanish, Italian and so on). ▶Activities
The project will gather in-depth documentation of existing public information also by contacting relevant institutions in english language certification and continue then with the content development of accessible material for the target group. This will lead to webinars and development of the microsite as a hotspot for information exchange and providing the translation of contents into Italian Sign Language and Spanish Sign Language videos, with a post-production of videos and subtitling.
▶Impact
A microsite will be developed, where the primary and secondary Target group can find information about english certification system. Moreover, the project will engage directly with deaf people by producing 2 webinars that will act as catalysator for the microsite. The video in italian and spanish sign language will finally provide all necessary information about the certifications available, the possible accessibility features and other funcionalities of the certification.
