Objectives

ECP880 aims to enhance consumer professionals' skills in the new European framework affecting consumer products in which consumer associations have a key role. It seeks to raise awareness, provide training tools, and foster knowledge exchange about product safety and how safer products are also sustainable products. It aims to improve consumer environments and promote a change of behaviour strengthening the capacities of professionals who educate and raise consumer awareness on new challenges.

Activities

The development of ECP 880 Toolkit to train consumer professionals including the lessons learned from training activities and 8 80 approach, covering the needs of 8 year old to 80 year old consumers. ECP880 Training activities: virtual sessions, in-person workshops and final virtual sessions that will act as knowledge-exchange activity among partners and participants. Dissemination and Exploitation activities to spread about the project during and after the implementation period.

Impact

The main result of the project will be the ECP 880 Toolkit, a practical tool which will be offered to consumer professionals not only at a national level, but European. This tool will help enhancing their capacities as consumer trainers and adapt to the new requirements of European regulations, at the same time that promotes green skills and generates a change in the perception of not only professionals working in consumer associations and consumer related bodies, but also consumers indirectly.
