Objectives

The project aims to develop and test a training course for equine-assisted interventions (EAI) and implement it in each participating country. Key objectives include fostering collaboration among partner organizations and ensuring quality training for professionals and students in EAI. By achieving these goals, the project will enhance the effectiveness of EAI services, benefiting diverse communities and establishing a sustainable framework for future training initiatives.

Activities

1. Monitoring and Coordination: Kick-off Meeting (3 days), to align objectives and prepare documentation. Ongoing online monitoring meetings. Intermediate Meeting. 2. Validation, Testing, and course Development: Conducting each EAI partner 5 sessions with 5 patients, for feedback. First Evaluation Meeting, Course definition. 3-5. Implementing the course in each country. Second Evaluation Meeting (3 days). 6. Final Meeting and Dissemination Event with in-person and online participation.

Impact

1. A validated training course on equine-assisted interventions tailored to each country's needs 2. Enhanced competencies of at least 30 professionals in 3 different countries, leading to improved practices in the field 3. Increased collaboration among partner organizations and local stakeholders 4. A comprehensive report detailing findings, methodologies, and best practices 5. Sustainable frameworks for continued training and knowledge sharing beyond the project duration
