Renew the Energy, Save the Future!
▶Objectives
The "Renew the Energy, Save the Future" project aims to bridge the skills gap in the renewable energy and digital energy management sectors by equipping VET professionals and the SMEs with practical and future-proof competencies. Through training, creating a Renewable Communities Toolkit, and national workshops, the project will enhance vocational education, promote energy efficiency, and foster local renewable energy communities, contributing to the green and digital transitions across Europe.
▶Activities
The project will begin with an online Kick-Off Meeting, followed by a 5-day training on renewable energy systems and digital energy management tools for VET professionals and SMEs. The second activity involves creating a Renewable Communities Toolkit. Then, national workshops in Spain, the Netherlands, and Türkiye will disseminate the toolkit and promote practical applications of the project outcomes. Finally, in the Closure Meeting, a sustainability plan for the project will be devised.
▶Impact
The project will result in increased skills among VET profesionals & learners and SMEs in renewable energy and digital tools. It will produce a Renewable Communities Toolkit that offers practical guidance on energy management and sustainability. The national workshops will expand awareness and adoption of renewable energy systems and energy efficiency strategies, fostering the creation of renewable energy communities and supporting the green transition across Europe.
