Objectives

The Lyrical Seed aims to facilitate cross-sectoral experential learning strategies to empower emerging Performing Arts professionals across Europe by fostering a vibrant creative ecosystem where upcoming and established practitioners from diverse backgrounds collaborate with industry stakeholders— VET&HE institutions, festivals, orchestras and venues—to create an inclusive platform for artistic cooperation, career development, peer learning, experience exchange and intercultural understanding.

Activities

The LySeed program will be structured as an interconnected web of Creative Hubs, in which participants from different sectors, countries, levels of experience and areas of expertise will receive career-specific support as they engage in the co-creation, design, production and performance of a Lyric Theatre work, to be presented in internationally in professional stages by the participating organisations, bridging the divide between the educational and professional settings.

Impact

LySeed aims to foster research-informed innovation in pan-European Lyric Theatre practices by offering market-specific solutions for the Performing Arts industry needs, as represented by audience response. We aim to equip upcoming VET professionals with essential industry skills, improving their employability, entrepreneurship and career prospects, thus responding to the New European Innovation Agenda with the enhanced value of the sustainability, transnationality & transferability of the model.
