Objectives

We want to provide our students with STEAM skills, which have become very important in the 21st century, from an early age, to include and guide especially girls in engineering and mathematics fields, and to develop our students' innovative thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving skills with STEAM-based activities. To do this, we want to use fairy tales as a tool, thus making STEAM more fun for students, contributing to cultural sustainability, and developing teachers in STEAM-based lessons.

Activities

The activities of our project are as follows: 1. What is STEAM? How is it implemented? 2. The Place of Fairy Tales in Education, Fairy Tale Telling, Introduction of Traditional Fairy Tales 3. From Fairy Tales to STEAM Lesson Plan 4. From Fairy Tales to Steam Teacher Application Guide 5. Application Examples of Steam Activities According to the Prepared Application Guide 6. From Fairy Tales to Steam Journey Exhibition, E-Book Creation, Evaluation

Impact

We expect our students to increase their STEAM skills, to become individuals who produce solutions to real-life problems, who question, are productive, can think critically, have high communication skills and are equipped with 21st century skills, and to include girls more in engineering and mathematics. We expect to be educators who use innovative methods on a European scale, keep up with the times, set an example for their environment, and to be institutions that have increased their capacity.
