By implementing the INCLUSIVE SOUNDSCAPES project, we aim to enhance the skills of cultural event organizers in creating accessible, intercultural, and inclusive events. We intend to achieve increased participation of marginalized groups, foster gender equality and intercultural dialogue, develop comprehensive training materials and toolkits and establish a replicable model for inclusive cultural events.

The INCLUSIVE SOUNDSCAPES project will implement several activities, including developing training materials, conducting capacity building actions, implementing best practices in partner festivals, and engaging local communities. The project will also organize “Volume ON” festivals in Lille and Trepuzzi to showcase inclusive practices, and develop resources such as the “Inclusive Toolbox” and Inclusive Soundscapes guide.

The project aims to result in enhanced skills among cultural event organizers in accessibility and inclusiveness, increased participation of marginalized groups in cultural events, and the release of comprehensive resources (toolbox and guide). The project will demonstrate inclusive practices through “Volume ON” festivals and establish a replicable model for inclusive cultural events, promoting social inclusion and cultural diversity across Europe.
