Objectives

We want to expand the expertise on youth civic engagement programs as pathways to professional integration especially for the YwFO, to new EU countries while fine tuning skills' improvement through non-formal education. Recognition of the decisive role of such programs in youth and insertion public policies will be a key achievement. The TIPJEV project is expected to reinforce NGOs network cooperating on offering new doors for European mobility and engagement, and leverage it for Youth insertion

Activities

We will create innovative volunteering schemes and a systematic approach to professional integration, which will include training for trainers, an impact study, and an advocacy note to ensure the sustainability of these initiatives. We will share best practices from a French model that emphasises skills development, certification, and professional integration through volunteering. Consequently, we will provide the youth ecosystem with a ready-to-use handbook aimed at enhancing employability.

Impact

Three major outcomes: -civic engagement and long-term volunteering of European youth, chiefly for the YwFO is promoted and decision-makers take steps towards implementation as public policy -an innovative and holistic approach for youth work is shared through training of professional to accompany and foster the professional insertion of the young European volunteers -thousands of young people engaged in civic engagement within our partners develop key competences and better insert the jobmarket
