The PLAYER project aims at accompanying the development of football programmes of inclusion of young ukrainian refugees in grassroot clubs. By learning through an exchange of good practices between more experienced actors on the subject and willing ones that lack guidance, it will lead to the implementation of activities encouraging openness from club players and staff towards displaced children arriving in their local area.

We will implement various activities: sport and educational based activities, workshops on European citizenship and migration (Migration mural), webinars, two festivals (intervention pilot in Poland and Latvia) and a dissemination event (final event, France).

The project will help partners and youth enhance skills through exchanges and activities. It will boost social inclusion for displaced children and inspire civic engagement. Sustainable networks will develop among partners, and local football clubs will be better equipped for inclusive practices. We expect a deeper understanding of the migration journey faced by young Ukrainians, leading to innovative tools for youth and sport professionals and increased public awareness of migration isssues.
