Objectives

The project aims to enhance youth participation in community life and media literacy by equipping youth workers with innovative tools, including a manual and white paper on web radio as an educational tool. Objectives include gathering state-of-the-art knowledge on media education, testing and validating the resources with youth workers and youth, and fostering long-term collaboration and skill-building through hands-on workshops, training, and dissemination activities.

Activities

The project will implement a series of key activities, starting with a training course for 24 youth leaders in Marseille, focusing on web radio and media literacy. Following this, an eight-month implementation phase will see the animators run workshops in all partner countries, creating microlearning content and engaging young people in concrete media projects that will help them participate in democratic life. The toolbox and resources developed will be tested in real-life environments.

Impact

The project aims to produce several important deliverables, including a comprehensive manual on media education and a white paper on the use of web radio as a tool for youth engagement. These resources will provide youth workers with tested strategies and methodologies for enhancing media literacy and encouraging active participation among young people. Additionally, microlearning content created during the workshops will serve as practical examples for implementing the toolkit effectively.
