▶Objectives
The Y-REACH project proposal aims to create a sustainable and innovative solution to address the pressing need for effective reintegration programs for youth offenders across Europe. The project is aimed at bridging the gap between the limited educational background and expertise of youth workers and the diverse array of skills required to effectively address the needs of young offenders by creating of a cross-disciplinary approach that encompasses psychological and rehabilitative interventions.
▶Activities
Outside of activities related to Project Management, Y-REACH project is foreseen following activities: Creation of Cross-disciplinary Adolescent Diversion Program and Online Learning platform, Capacity Building of Youth workers, Implementation activities with focus group of young offenders in 3 targeted regions Saint-Anne France, Kochani N. Macedonia and Pazardzhik Bulgaria, as well as a set of Communication and promotional activities towards relevant local, regional and national stakeholders
▶Impact
Desired results are: - A fully developed, implemented and promoted Adolescent Diversion Program addressing reintegration, recidivism prevention, life and work skills enhancement, and promoting tolerance and respect of youth offenders right - Developed an Online Learning Platform containing all training materials, resources, and interactive modules from ADP, actively used by Youth workers. - The ultimate long-term Project's goal is reduced recidivism rate among young offenders in targeted regions
